Adilas Demo for DBS Soil Testing 13 May 2016 Attendees: Brandon, Cory, Sarah, Joanna, Nick Pitched a small proposal to them. Their industry is very specific and has some specific needs. We want to show them how we can meet some of those needs. We are not industry-specific, so we can help them track stuff, have special look and feel, etc. Started with a demo of a few of our corps to show them what we're all about. A lot of what we do is toggle on/toggle off- you can make it look however you want to. Showed adilas shop, bear 100, beaver mtn, bowling world, school services, etc. Also showed a few different interfaces (chooser): wheel, calendar view, custom interfaces, classic home, etc. They need to potentially gather data offline then upload it. Possible CSV job- suck the csv file into the aplication hours or days after the data is compiled. In adilas you can get down and into your data very quickly. What we're trying to show in these demo sites: we track data, and we play in the custom realm. Joanna questions: -How can we customize their interface to fit in with their lab? -custom interface w/ no additional coding work: $500-$1,000 -can we have 3 different people logged in at the same time? -yes -what happens if the system crashes? -they can build custom reports, data is stored in our cloud database. they can also export stuff to excel. General concerns: if they were to go to someone else for a LIMS system, they can actually see their deliverable. On the other hand, they can't see ours until we've already done some legwork. this has to be financially viable for them in order for this to work. Their biggest question is what will they be getting from adilas that they wouldn't get from LIMS. They're also worried about how much "bloat" they're going to be paying for if they just want their data tracking. they're currently using internal tracking, using microsoft office tools for data recording. Their bookkeeper is reluctant to use something other than Quickbooks for their accounting. They don't like QB much, but everyone else uses it. -not a huge issue, since the accounting side of adilas would be more supplemental than replacing their accounting side. Where we left off: Brandon offered the $500-$1,000 price tag for an interface for their main page to better orient them within the site. THey said they'd discuss it then get back to us on it.
