Goals for 2021 - Earn is higher than the burn rate - Harvest some of the ideas from the developer's notebook - Get into more eye candy - charts, graphs, etc. - Expanding into other business verticals - Trying to hunt down client where the 2020 (2021) version works for the clients - On the client aquisition stuff... we may have to swallow some of those costs upfront... we'll get it back - Keep improving communication channels - internal and external communications - We still have some global goals (internal priorities) of customer service and cash flow, server stability, and working on look and feel - Steve and Brandon trying to react to a higher calling - helping to manage things and keep things flowing - We are adding in products and services to help with cash flow - shared systems, semi-dedicated servers, full dedicated boxes, and enterprise systems - Shooting towards $10,000/month for a team of 20 people. Steve and Sean even have some numbers to get to that value. - One of our fixes, is to migrate clients off on to their own systems as they grow. All of the sudden, they are happy and not getting intrupted service (by themselves). - On percentages, we are currently at a 40/40/20 split. - We have some options on the table that haven't fully played out... we may have to wait for a bit on some of these changes - We want to gift 10% of Brandon's share to the adilas trust - Mike (potential investor) is really interested in investing - We have some willing investors, we just keep getting side tracked - WanderWays, Herbo, Enterprise Accounting - Going off of Russell's model of the floating platform with business verticals growing out of it (like a floating cityscape - each building is a different vertical) - We want to find clients that can use our stuff, right out the box - Each business owner can only take things so far... at some point, it may require others to cary it forward and/or take over certain sections - Circle of life... smaller fish get eaten by bigger fish, and it keeps going - build it and sell it, build it and sell it, continue - Figuring out where you are comfortable and setting up a good basecamp. If you out grow that, you just setup the next basecamp. - Talking about Adilas Trust... lots of options there... still in the planning and talking mode. Timing may need to wait for now, things are still up in the air. - There may be other options that are still in the works - Having the business help shoulder some of the tax load and virtual tax breaks - Focus on the direction of travel vs the actual mileage... - We would love to switch to an hourly payment model and then pay out bonuses and/or commissions and/or percentages - Starting in January, we'll start doing some profit sharing and bonuses - the starting of the adilas trust without actually doing it - practice run
